About Us

Our story starts when Ramlan Ortega Shihan embarked on his Aikido journey in 1995, achieving his 1st Dan black belt in 1997 under the tutelage of Kancho Inoue Kyoichi Sensei.

 

He became a disciple of Thamby Rajah Sensei in 1998, earning his 2nd Dan a year later. In 2002, he underwent intensive training in Melbourne under Joe Thambu Shihan, receiving his 3rd Dan in 2003 and later attaining the 4th dan in 2007. His journey continued with the award of the 5th Dan in 2012 and the 6th Dan in June 2018.

 

Notably, in March 2019, he was honored with the title of Shihan by Aiko Inoue Kaicho and Joe Thambu Shuseiki Shihan.
